Yoga Retreat
From time to time, A Casa hosts small and intimate yoga retreats. While there are currently no dates scheduled, our house and gardens offer a natural setting for restorative stays, and future retreats will be announced here.
Together with experienced yoga instructor Valeria Dialotti, these retreats bring together daily yoga sessions, the calm of the Piemontese countryside, and the pleasures of local food and wine.
Our gardens provide the perfect backdrop for slow mornings and relaxed afternoons, whether practicing yoga, taking a dip in the swimming pool, or simply enjoying the quiet rhythm of life in Piemonte.

Yoga Practices
During this retreat, you will be practicing several types of yoga:

Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga focuses on physical postures (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama) to prepare the body and mind for meditation. The word "Hatha" comes from the Sanskrit words "ha" (sun) and "tha" (moon), symbolizing the balance of opposing forces.
Hatha yoga aims to create harmony between the body and mind, promoting physical health, mental clarity, and spiritual growth. Hatha yoga is often considered a gentle and accessible form of yoga, making it suitable for beginners and practitioners of all levels.

Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa yoga, also known as "flow" yoga, is a dynamic and fluid style of yoga that emphasizes the connection between breath and movement. The word "Vinyasa" comes from the Sanskrit term "nyasa," meaning "to place," and "vi," meaning "in a special way." In Vinyasa yoga, each movement is synchronized with an inhale or exhale, creating a continuous flow of postures. Vinyasa yoga is suitable for practitioners of all levels, from beginners to advanced yogis. It offers a versatile and invigorating practice that can be both physically challenging and mentally calming.

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga that focuses on holding poses for longer periods of time, typically between 3 to 5 minutes. By holding poses for extended periods, Yin Yoga helps to increase flexibility, improve circulation, and promote a sense of calm and relaxation.
The practice is often meditative, encouraging practitioners to turn inward and focus on their breath and sensations in the body. Yin Yoga is a great complement to more active forms of yoga and exercise, as it helps to balance the body's energy and promote overall well-being.
